When the heart no longer beats, it is not worth to seek

A friend of mine posted this in her blog not too long ago.

Love is full of ironies indeed. But those listed above are only one of those ironies.

To me, the greatest irony of love is to love someone, but only to find that the person loves someone else, or, that the person is looking for someone else to love. But either way, no matter how much you deny it or refuse to admit it, you do succumb to the fact that maybe, what if, that there is a probability that there is someone out there who can make the person happier than you ever could. And if you really love the person, you would be happy if the person do find that someone else because all you ever wanted for that person is for the person to be happy. Even if it means, that the happiness does not include you in the equation.

Randy Newman once sang;

Show me a man, who's gentle and kind,
And I'll show you a loser,
Now show me a man, who takes what he wants...
This is it. I'm looking for a towel, so that I can throw it in.
