If I can sum up everything that I've learned throughout the one year or so that I have started working in one word, it would be - Plastics.
Plastic in the sense that nothing is solid, nothing is real. Everything changes according to the mold of the moment and situation. Everything is superficial.
Hugs are nothing but a way for people to assess how high to lift the knife before stabbing you in the back.
They never laugh with you but they laugh at you.
Your boss will never forget your mistakes, but never remembers what you did right.
A dedicated worker is someone who sold his soul to the corporate devil.
Remember that the saying goes that there are 99 types of smile? So yeah, a smile can hide a million other things.
Office gossips are more dangerous threat than a terrorist strapped with bombs.
kau tau nyah....Not that I have had experience with all of these, but this is what I can gather after watching how people around me act, interact, react and counteract in every ordinary day in the office life of us corporate slaves.
